- Passed or appeared in Class 12 (or equivalent) in the years specified in the 2026 brochure.
- Physics and Mathematics are compulsory, with the third subject selected from the approved list. Subject combinations can vary by programme.
- Minimum 60% aggregate in Class 12, or 55% for SC/ST candidates, and a pass grade in all subjects.
- Chemistry is compulsory for Civil, Chemical, and Mechanical Engineering where those programmes are offered.
